RedWeather
So I've been really busy with my band. Let me tell you about them. Theres me, of course, the mediocre bassist, with my own unique style, being forced to learn songs that the rest of them wrote ages ago with a different bassist. OK, I think as I play with them the first time, this is a new situation, a challenge, let's see how I handle it. I learn about 7 out of the 9 or so songs they have and we sound pretty good. All things considered, that is. In my opinion, the weakest link is the singer, it's ok to be a narccicist if you actually can sing, but his lyrics reminded me of some of the inferior writings I came up with while drunk in the seventh grade. The lead guitarist is a pretty cool guy, he's the one who opened the door to me into Redweather. He works at a retail store, me and madre went to purchase her a nice new shiny television and he was the salesman. Already knowing the answer, I sarcastically asked if they sold bass amps, and thats how it started
The drummer is a real cool guy. We have alot in common, he's real timid, kind of a dark goth-like (for lack of multiple adjective chain boredom) guy with long hair, he also does the recording and equipment. He was in a previous band with a guy who got locked away for some ignorant shit, I eventually got to meet him, he's also a great fellow, and will make a better back up guitar than our singer, who doesnt even use a pick.
